The included 18W charger is pretty standard in phones at this price, and does a decent job of charging the Moto Edge, but without much urgency. Suffice it to say that if you play a lot of games on phones, battery life won't get you past a day. You'll comfortably get a full-day's worth that even creeps into the following day, depending on how much or little you use and what kind of apps you run. You won't be disappointed with battery life. Both phones have identical processors and available RAM. ![]() In real life, however, there's no perceivable difference. That's identical to the Pixel 4a 5G for single-core performance, and a little better than the Pixel for multi-core performance. For RAM, the more of it you have, the more simultaneous apps your phone can handle without slowing down or reloading apps. And, the Moto Edge is well priced if you find it for $500, not for its $700 full retail pricing.Īs far as performance scores, the Moto Edge I tested running the Snapdragon 765G combined with 6GB of memory (RAM) got a 590 for single-core performance, and about 1,850 for multi-core performance in the Geekbench 5 benchmark test that measures the performance limits of the phone. It's an efficient, fast, mid-range processor that's more than capable for the average user - as long as the phone's price is right. ![]() Indeed, the Moto Edge does feel fast and powerful as a result of its 90Hz screen, as well as the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor.
